The Journey That Has Already Begun
This, then, is where the work begins. Not with belief, and not with the suspension of reason — but with a widening of the meaning of the word see.
The world is far richer than any surface alone can show. Every appearance is a doorway. Every form is a hint at a depth. Every phenomenon points toward its origin. To live with this awareness is not to become mystical in the dismissive sense of the word. It is to become more awake, more present, more honest about the full range of what knowing actually includes.
The center is not hidden because it is absent. It is hidden because we have been taught to look only with the eyes, and the eyes were not designed to find it. But the I behind the eyes — the real eye — has never lost it.
